Up in the clouds fight

 Way up in the clouds fighting his enemy for a secret Chemicals that will demolish the world… It all started with James choles ( a Secret hero ) with powers, speed, flight, move things with your mind and lazer eyes. As he was told by his crew (the savers) james choles, iron fist with the powers to punch anything in the world and jump 200 Metres high in the sky and luke war with the powers Invincible and able to shape shift.

The savers were told that the demolishers were hiding a dangerous chemical up in the clouds that can  kill everyone on the planet apart from the demolishers and luke war. “They are planning on killing everyone tonight” said Jarvis there Organiser. “We should get going now before night,” said iron fist. They all got in the car they called doctor vroom.

When they got there the building was 1000ft above the ground they couldn’t believe it. So off to above the clouds they went. They’re hearts were beating fast as they were all scared. They got to the top, it was too late, The demolishers were already there. “I thought Jarvis said they’d be there at night” said Luke war, “well obviously he was wrong” said James choles, “ i got a plan” said James choles. Luke war shaped shift in to the manager of the building as he left the elevator and slade turn around and got a fright and Luke War said “ is everything ok up here” doctor doom reply with “yes everything is going ok” the luke war a.k.a the manager said “ay what's that over there?” the demolishers got afraid that he was gonna find out that the secret  chemical tean luke war turned around to go back to the Elevator with his crew and then shape shift into one of the best things they have ever seen it was a hero with a blue suit with a big S on it, a red cape and this hero that he just read about it was SUPERMAN!!!! Doing an amazing pose with his crew back up behind him in a triangle “ the savers i should have known” said slade. In battle they went fighting each other. 

fighting each other the demolishers were losing as they lost there best person darkside as Luke war head butted him in the chest and fell over the edge of the building as now that there is only slade and doctor doom left fight the three of them. Slade dies by Accidentally swinging his sword in wrong Direction and stabbing his self and now its 3v1 and you know who won the savers, the savers that all ways save the day its in there name. So the world live safe for the rest of the year.

Lesson 1 The Windmill Farmer

WALT: Write a metaphor or personification poem. 

The storm is a raging gorilla,

Dangerous and terrifying. It tackles and charges

At the windmills across the landscape,

Like a giant front rower beast. The loud sound of

A gorilla roaring louder than ever. 

It runs through the windmill breaking one

By one, by punching them. Completely unstoppable,

As nobody can harm it. Breaking, raging and angry. 

Boat

The last three days our teacher has been absent so we have had a  reliever teacher called Mr Leason. While Mr Leason has been here we have made boats. The boats a for refugees when they travel over water. The seniors block at our school has been reading a book called Boy at the back of the class room and it is about a refugee that come all the way from another country by boat. so I wanted to share my rescue boat for refuegees.

My Escaping story

When i was 7 years old I had to move country’s. My name is Tama I have one sister and no brothers and I live with her and my mum and dad and this is my story of how i left my country to a New zealand. It was a dark stormy night when i could hear people outside with guns and grenades i ran to my mum and told her about it and she said ‘ there is a war quick hide! With scared and frighten emotions i ran with my sister and hid in my cupboard and stayed there with mum, sister and dad until there was a knock on the door we ignored it and stayed hiding until there was bombs setting of around our neibor hood so we started to pack up everything we could carry with us and i wanted to bring my mini basketball hoop but mum and dad said no. so instead i brung my basketball that came with the hoop and a teddy bear. We brung a lot of clothes and went on a journey to find a new country. We didn’t want to take the car because we didn’t want to look suspicious we ran out our street and found ourselves with some other people that live down our street it was a mother and her own son. They came with us and we went with them and we all went to find a new country. We walked for several hours until we found the government house. We had ask told the government what had happened and they had told us we were force to leave our country to a refugee camp then I ask mum ‘what is a refugee camp mum? Then she said ‘ its a place for people who dont have a country or a home to stay or live in” so we had to walk to the camp and when we got there… When we got there at the front gate were two guards with big machine gun making sure that no one will try to escape and there was a lot of family’s there i felt so sad for them and so did my sister. Our family stayed with the other family that came with us but we slept in different tents. One year has gone past still at the refugee camp no country has wanted any of us mum, dad and my sister a getting sick until one day on thursday one country called new zealand and gave us a offer for us refugees to live in mum and dad have hurd about thins country ans said that this country has had no wars, bombs or anything else, i felt excited about moving to that country but i was going to miss my family that lived there and my friend’s. We had started traviling on saturday by going in small groups and we got to go in vans and got on to boats sadly we couldn’t go by plane so it took us 12 hours to get to new zealand but when we went got there it was beautiful no wars and the rivers and beaches were even more beautiful. So after that we lived there for the rest of our life.

Antarctica

At school we have been learning about antarctica and these are some of the things i learnt

To get to antarctica it takes 10 hours on plane and when your 3hours in you will have to make a choice if you want to land 3hours in or keep going far in to antarctica, also you can go by plane or boat but the boat will take much longer. You can find a volcano in Antarctica called mount ebebrus for the last few years this volcano and been erupting a lot and there is a village called Villa Las Estrellas found on king george island and was built in 1984. In Antarctica they’re winters can go to 15 degrees Celsius and they’re summers go up to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Antarctica can be found around the south pole. December 14th 1911 Antarctica was discovered by falcon scott there was a race to find antarctica first and falcon scott was one of them and as he was finding antarctica he lands on a mountain he found out he was on antarctica as he came back with disastrous results.

school work in lock down

during lock down I have been doing online class meetings so I can keep learning. while we are doing online class meetings we also get some work from our teacher like, maths, reading, writing and more. so for writing our teacher whaea Annie give's us a story starter so we add some more to it, So here is one of my stories that i have written .

Skypath

She took a break because she was struggling to walk properly. Her journey began at the end of the path, as  it was the beggining of the twisted stairs. she couldn’t see what direction the stairs were going. She keeped going till the stair way stop. The stairs were in weird directions. It was like a snake moving side to side. It took her a long time to get to the top but she didn’t give up. When she got to the top She saw the door. She was happy because the stories she was toldit was true but there were two guards guarding the door. she walked up to the door and the guard said “if you enter you must answer a riddle from the both of us”. “oK” said the woman. The first guard said “if you get it wrong we will have to send you back to the bottom of the mountain”. She was terrified because it took her hours to get up the mountain and the stairs. “o”K She said with a scared voice. “what has a head and a tail but cant talk” said the first guard. She was thinking and thinking she pulled out a coin out of her pocket to hold on to. But when she looked at it she said “this side has a head, she flipped it and said,  this side has tales” So she walked up to the guard and said “a coin in a confident voice”. “yes” said the first guard, “ Now You Must Answer My Riddle” said the other guard. oK said the woman. But this time the guard had a paper that  she thought was really  cool and it said CAN YOU SPOT SPOT THE MISTAKE        1 2 3 4 6 7 8 9 10  She asked the guard She asked the guard if she could get a closer look at the paper. While lookingat the riddle she was whispering to her self “can you spot the mistake, can you spot the mistake” then looking   1 2 3 4 6 7 8 9 10  looking and looking she could not see it but then she read it again “can you spot spot huh? it says can you spot spot the mistake”  so she walk up to the second guard and said “the mistake is that it says can you spot spot the mistake”. “Yes you a right” said the second guard so they let her through the doors and it was there right in front her eyes “yes, yes it true” the woman said with tears “its really true”.so she walked up to get a map with some treasure. under the map was a key to unlock the box that the treasure was in she opened it the was gold, a ruby, diamonds and a hole lot of cash. she walk back down the snake stairs and the mountain, “finally i can save my job from the builders trying to brake it and i can live a healthy life no more troubles at all.

Earthquake

Its the 25th of may 2020 on a Monday im getting ready for school just finished having breakfast then i have to do the dishes. After i finish doing the dishes i go to my mum to see if there is anything else she needs me to do but instead she tell me to hold onto her hand so i say "ok mum?'' then out of know where there come a huge Earthquake that's shaking our house like a giant has just jumped up and down mum holding on tight to my hand and so am I then she runs under the door way thing while im trying to run out side but she pull's me and my sister under the door way thing and my sister is about cry and everything in our house nearly fall's everywhere on the ground ( lucky it didn't) After that we sat back on the couch getting ready to run back under the door way thing again as if there was another earthquake about to happen, My mum is texting people if they a alright while my heart is beating really fast like i just finished running a mile then my mum checks how big the earthquake was and man... IT WAS HUGE!!! it was 5.4 followed by 45 after shocks today, that was shocking news to me.

eel catching

Today i went eel catching with my cousins. When we left the house we all sat at the back of the ute with the two dogs Honey and Sky.

 We got to the block where there was a creak. so Kade grabbed a hay bail to feed the cows, they came straight away for the hay bail. After that we got our strings and the meat and went down to the creak. When we got down to the creak we tide up one bit of meat to one string to see if there was any eels, while we were waiting, me Kade and our other cousin that was with us (Malachi) where jumping over the creak on to the other side and i nearly fell in the water. we keeped doing that for ages then i jumped to the other side and landed on my stomach and that definitely hurt. One eel came and Kade's little brother Hosea was holding on to the string when the eel bit the meat and Hosea was pulling the eel in but the eel fell back in the water so we saw more eels coming so then we tide up some meat on our own strings and threw them in the water waiting for the eels to get a its mouth on the meat. When the eel came to my string it bit it then it tried to rip  the meat of but i pulled it out but i couldn't pull it out cause i pulled it to early. The eels keep coming on the strings and ripping our meat  but we all were so close to getting them out but we just couldn't. A while later Kade's dad left to do something else so we all stayed sitting really quite waiting for the eels. After Kade's dad left more eels came till there was about five 1 big huge one and the rest were tiny. Then we left cause those eels were not coming anymore so we moved to a different place Witch look like a pond so we threw our strings with our eat on it into the water waiting for some eels to come. Waiting for a long time a huge eel came then it bit Malachi's meat and he pulled it and it came out all the way but the eel let go and fell back in the water he was like "no! i was so close nah that eel is a bastard'' Then he named it matiuu so every time the eel would come back he would say "matiuu your back''. Every time matiuu would bite our string and fall back in the water he would always leave for a bit, like he was going home cause when matiuu left he always go to the same spot. Matiuu bit mine then i pulled him out all the way but like Malachi it fell back in. We gave kade a go because the eels never cam to his meat and his last to go's were really good so the first one it bit his and he did not know but it did then he pulled it our all the way out twice and again the same with Me and Malachi it fell back in but then Kade's dad yelled out " oe boy's were gonna go home now'' so we packed up and went back to kade's house.

Bake off making scones

Today is bake off day for room 4. This morning my koko and I made scones before our class meeting. here is the recipe and instructions on how to make the scone we made this morning.

Recipe and you will need:

-  large bowl
- little bowl
- tea spoon
- table spoon
- measuring cup
- Any kind of flour
- sugar ( any kind )
- baking powder
- salt
- milk
- cream
- unsalted butter
- egg


Step one. in a large bowl put 2 and a half cups of flour into the bowl.
Step two. in the same bowl add 2 table spoons of sugar into the bowl
Step three. add two tea spoons of baking powder into the same bowl you put the other ingredients in.
Step four. if you want you can add 1 tea spoon of salt in the same bowl
step five. now whisk and mix and combine all the ingredients till it combine
Step six. you can now add 5 table spoons of unsalted butter to the bowl.step seven. combine the butter with the other ingredients till you get a sandy, crumbly texture.

step seven. when your finished combining the butter put the bowl beside and get out your little bowl and the measuring cup, in the little bowl get out the egg and crack it into the bowl, get out the whisk again and stir the egg around
step eight. when your egg is stir all up get out the milk and pour it up to 3 and a quarter high in the measuring cup.
Step nine. now you can add your egg and the milk to the other that you first had and mix it up.
step ten. when you finished mixing the egg and the milk with the other stuff it should look like doe.
step fourteen. now on your bench sprinkle the flour on the bench  and then put on top of that put your doe on it.
step eleven roll and pat the doe and then it should look like flat ish but not to flat.
after you have done that step you can get your knife and cut the doe in half then cut it again but in quarters.
step twelve . put the cup up pieces into a large tray when you have done that put it in the fridge for 10 to 15 minutes doing this should let the doe relax.
step thirteen. when he it has been 10 to 15 minutes you can bring it out, then get some cream and put it in a cup as high as you want then get a brush then brush the cream on top the scones.
step fourteen. now you can put it in the oven for 18 to 20 minutes now, after its been 18 to 20 minutes you a finished

Stacking wood with my koro

On Friday me and my koro stacked wood so we would be warm during winter.the wood was delivered on Thursday afternoon so we left it there on a mat till Friday.

Me and my koro started stacking wood after we had lunch but first we had to move some stuff around so the wood could fit in the shed. while we were stacking the wood we were talking about somethings and we were listing to some music so we could have something to listen to. Then my mum came out to help us stack the wood. after a while i had to go to my class meeting so mum stayed out to help koko so he didn't have to do it by his self. After my class meeting I came out and they were nearly done all that was left was the kindling to put away.

After putting the kindling koko folded the mat that the wood was on and put it away.
